Twins' Ricky Nolasco: Strikes out seven en route to win

Nolasco struck out seven and walked just one while allowing two runs across six innings Sunday versus the Mariners, earning his second win of the season.

Analysis:

Nolasco was rocked in his prior start, but he rebounded with one of his best performances of the season Sunday, reaching seven punchouts for the third time and tossing his first quality start in the last six. The struggling Twins stand to benefit from more starts such as this from the veteran, and he'll need to outperform his current 5.28 ERA in order to make that happen. He'll face the Rays at home in his next start Friday.
