Yankees' Mark Teixeira: Late sub Sunday

Teixeira (neck) replaced Dustin Ackley on Sunday after Ackley hurt his shoulder, going 0-for-1. Teixeira said that throwing is still difficult for him, but expects to play Monday at Toronto.

Analysis:

It's possible that Teixeira could be the DH, but with Ackley potentially headed to the DL, the Yankees are having to be increasingly creative about who they roll out at first base. The DL move for Ackley seems more imperative with Carlos Beltran (shoulder) also banged up.
