Rays' Ryan Webb: Placed on DL with pectoral strain

Webb was placed on the DL on Sunday due to a right pectoral strain, freelance Rays writer Roger Mooney reports.

Analysis:

The 30-year-old hasn't appeared in the last three games, but the Rays provided no indication he was dealing with an injury. With Webb heading to the DL, Brad Boxberger (abdomen) will be activated Monday in a corresponding move.
