Indians' Carlos Carrasco: Will throw side session Monday

Manager Terry Francona said Carrasco (hamstring) would throw a side session Monday, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports.

Analysis:

Carrasco made his first rehab start at Double-A Akron on Saturday and checked out fine, allowing one run on seven hits and a walk while striking out six in four innings. The Tribe will monitor him during Monday's session before determining whether another rehab outing is necessary or if he'll come off the DL later this week to rejoin the big league rotation.
