Rays' Desmond Jennings: Sitting out for fourth time in six games
Jennings is out of the lineup Sunday against the Yankees, freelance Rays writer Roger Mooney reports.
Analysis:
It's the fifth time in seven games that Jennings will be dumped for the lineup, as the 29-year-old's ongoing struggles have prompted manager Kevin Cash to give recent call-up Mikie Mahtook a more extended look in center field. With Jennings no longer seeing regular at-bats, it's tough to justify holding him outside of AL-only formats.
