White Sox's Carlos Rodon: Saddled with no-decision despite solid start Saturday

Rodon didn't earn a decision in the White Sox's 8-7 loss to the Royals on Saturday. He surrendered six hits, an earned run and two walks over five innings, while also striking out three.

Analysis:

The 23-year-old southpaw turned in one of his best performances of May, but missed out on the win when the Royals rattled off seven runs in the bottom of the ninth. Rodon had been solid over 105 pitches, inducing 11 swinging strikes while keeping the ball in the yard for the second straight game. He'll try to bounce back versus the Tigers in Detroit next Friday.
