Brewers' Jeremy Jeffress: Loses in relief role

Jeffress pitched two-thirds of an inning against the Reds on Saturday, and allowed one run on a hit and a walk with no strikeouts.

Analysis:

Jeffress has been very dependable in the closer role for the Brewers, but he couldn't get the job done this time, and allowed the winning run on a groundout after loading the bases. Jeffress, however, only has a 2.28 ERA, and he should remain as Milwaukee's closer for the foreseeable future.
