Indians' Danny Salazar: Wins fifth game of season

Salazar (5-3) went six strong innings against the Orioles on Saturday, in which he allowed two runs on six hits and two walks with five strikeouts.

Analysis:

Salazar has been pretty solid of late, and he bounced back effectively after allowing four runs in only 4.1 innings during his last outing. The 26-year-old righthander has struck out 72 in only 61.1 innings, so he has a lot of value as one of the league's top flamethrowers. He ranks in the Top 10 in ERA in the AL with a 2.39 mark, and he will look to keep it going in his next start against the Royals on Thursday.
