Diamondbacks' Evan Marshall: Sent to Reno

Marshall was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Friday.

Analysis:

He'll try to get back on track in the minors after posting a 6.92 ERA and 2.15 WHIP over 13 innings with Arizona. Marshall has been unable to replicate his 2014 success with the D-backs over the past two seasons, shuttling between Triple-A and the big leagues, and suffering a near fatal head injury after getting struck in the head by a comebacker at Reno last season.
