Nieuwenhuis is not in the starting lineup Friday against the Reds.
Analysis:
Nieuwenhuis has been the primary center fielder for the Brewers as of late, but considering he's only garnered one hit in the past six games and left-hander John Lamb is pitching for Cincinnati, manager Craig Counsell decided to give him a day off. Keon Broxton will start in center field in his place.
