Dodgers' Yimi Garcia: Transferred to 60-day DL Friday

Garcia (biceps) was transferred to the 60-day disabled list Friday, Eric Stephen of SB Nation reports.

Analysis:

With the Dodgers calling up top prospect Julio Urias, a spot on the 40-man roster needed to be cleared. Considering there is still no timetable for Garcia's return, he was an obvious candidate as he has made little to no progress so far in his rehab program.
