Braves' A.J. Pierzynski: Out of Friday's lineup

Pierzynski is out of the lineup Friday against the Marlins.

Analysis:

As usual, Pierzynski will head to the bench with the Marlins trotting left-hander Adam Conley to the mound. Tyler Flowers will take over behind the plate Friday, and could also garner the start Saturday with lefty Wei-Yin Chen slated to throw for Miami. If the platoon holds up, Pierzynski will likely re-enter the lineup Sunday when right-hander Tommy Koehler takes the ball for the series finale.
