Braves' Mallex Smith: Not in Friday's lineup

Smith is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Marlins.

Analysis:

With left-hander Adam Conley getting the start for Miami, Smith will head to the bench for a routine day off. Jeff Francoeur will take over in left field for the rookie for the series opener.
