Brewers' Chris Capuano: Dealing with elbow inflammation
Capuana's elbow injury is currently being classified as elbow inflammation, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Analysis:
Capuano initially felt the pain in his elbow during his May 20 outing, and felt it again after pitching against the Braves on Wednesday. It is a bit troublesome to hear that the left-hander experienced the same sensation during his second Tommy John recovery, although he did say no tests thus far have pointed toward ligament damage. He'll likely take some anti-inflammatories in the coming days and possibly even undergo an MRI when the club returns to Milwaukee, but it seems that Capuano has avoided a major injury this time around.
