Blue Jays' Aaron Sanchez: Gets start pushed back to Friday
Sanchez will have his next start pushed back a day and will throw against the Red Sox on Friday in Toronto, the Toronto Sun reports.
Analysis:
The Jays are going to plan as much as they can to give Sanchez some breaks throughout the season to keep him in the rotation as long as possible. He has never pitched more than 130 innings in any season and could blow past that level sometime in July. J.A. Happ will take the ball Thursday, as the Jays won't have to recall anyone to make the switch thanks to an off day earlier in the week.
