Pirates' Gregory Polanco: Third spot in batting order a charm

Polanco went 3-for-4 with a double, one RBI and his seventh stolen base Wednesday.

Analysis:

He hit a pair of opposite-field singles before doubling to right field for his third hit. Polanco has settled in nicely as the team's No. 3 hitter against right-handed pitching, batting .343 in 67 at-bats. He has a home run in two at-bats against Thursday starter Patrick Corbin.
