Rockies' Jorge De La Rosa: Booted from starting rotation Wednesday
De La Rosa was removed from the starting rotation Wednesday, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.
Analysis:
De La Rosa returned from the disabled list to start Tuesday's game against the Red Sox, but he saw awful results just like he did before the injury. This was apparently the last straw for manager Walt Weiss, as he decided to have left-hander Chris Rusin take his spot in the rotation after throwing 4.2 scoreless innings while pitching in long relief for Jordan Lyles on Monday.
