Pirates' Arquimedes Caminero: Struggles again Tuesday
Caminero allowed three hits and one walk in 1.2 innings Tuesday. He also hit two Arizona batters.
Analysis:
The Pirates gave Caminero an opportunity to throw with an 11-run lead, but things didn't go smoothly. The hard-throwing righty plunked a pair of batters and was ejected from the game after hitting Jean Segura in the head. Caminero holds a 5.19 ERA in 17.1 innings, but it's really his 2.13 WHIP which is a cause for concern. It wouldn't be surprising to see the Pirates part ways with him in the near future.
