Padres' Wil Myers: Likely out Wednesday

Myers (forearm) is not expected to be in the starting lineup Wednesday, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

Although Myers was adamant that he's fine, it sounds like manager Andy Green is intent on playing it safe and giving Myers another day of rest (and three in total with Thursday's team off) after his latest setback. Myers acknowledged that he felt something in his forearm Monday night, in the same spot he experienced some tightness earlier this month.
