Royals' Wade Davis: Praised by manager

Manager Ned Yost praised Wade after he earned another save in a tight situation, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

Yost was pretty happy with Davis' performance, saying the right-hander "just finds a way to up his game in those situations" and that "the tighter the situation, the better he is." Davis earned his 12th save despite loading the bases Tuesday night, and he owns a sparkling 1.08 ERA in 2016.
