Padres' Wil Myers: Says absence Tuesday not forearm-related

Myers said his absence from Tuesday's lineup was not injury-related, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

He did acknowledge that he felt something in his forearm Monday night, in the same spot he experienced tightness earlier this month, but Myers said he tested the forearm and that it felt fine. It sounds like Myers is confident he will be back in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale, but the training staff and manager Andy Green will have the final say.
