Orioles' Yovani Gallardo: To throw sim game Saturday

Gallardo (shoulder) will throw two innings in a simulated game Saturday and he will throw another sim game before heading out on a rehab assignment, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports.

Gallardo has been gradually working up strength in his injured shoulder, moving from playing catch last week to throwing a bullpen session Sunday. He'll progress to throwing a pair of sim games in the next week before the Orioles set him out on a rehab assignment.
