Padres' Andrew Cashner: Reinstated from disabled list Tuesday
Cashner (hamstring) was officially activated and will start Tuesday's game against the Giants, Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Analysis:
Cashner last pitched in the majors on May 8, before he was removed from the game due to a right hamstring cramp and subsequently placed on the 15-day disabled list. His reinstatement pushed pitcher Kevin Quackenbush down to Triple-A El Paso. Cashner started seven games before his injury, for a 4.93 ERA and 1.47 WHIP over 34.1 innings.
