Tigers' Justin Upton: Day-to-day with quad tightness

Upton (quad) is listed as day-to-day for Tuesday's game against the Phillies, Aaron McMann of MLive.com reports.

Analysis:

Upton was scratched from Monday's lineup due to quadricep tightness and was replaced by Steven Moya in left field. It seems his quad issue isn't too severe, as Tigers manager Brad Ausmus labeled the injury "nothing major." It's unclear whether Ausmus will choose to rest Upton for Tuesday's game as well, but we'll find out once the lineup for Tuesday is official.
