Cubs' Jason Heyward: Will take batting practice Monday

Heyward (hip) did rotational work and took swings Monday, but the Cubs are taking a cautious approach by holding him out of the starting lineup, Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune reports.

According to Carrie Muskat of MLB.com, Heyward will also taking batting practice prior to Monday's game. He remains day-to-day as Monday is the third consecutive game he will miss due to injury.
