Indians' Carlos Carrasco: Threw 50 pitches Monday

Carrasco thew 50 pitches as well as an additional 10 bullpen pitches Monday, and is scheduled to throw a three-inning game in Lake County on May 28, Ryan Lewis of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Analysis:

Carrasco's recovery is coming along nicely and he is nearing return to the Indians' rotation. There should be more clarity regarding his status following his three-inning start this upcoming Saturday.
