Diamondbacks' Zack Greinke: Pitches eight strong innings Sunday
Greinke (5-3) allowed one run on five hits and one walk while striking out seven over eight innings to earn the win Sunday at St. Louis.
Analysis:
Greinke was staked to a three-run lead in the first inning, and that's all the run support he'd need in this dominant effort. After having some struggles earlier in the season, he's now posted quality starts in six of his last eight outings to lower his ERA to 4.59. He'll make his next start Saturday against the Padres.
