Houston Astros outfielder Jake Marisnick needed the help of his manager A.J. Hinch on Sunday in remembering he had earned a walk.

After Texas Rangers starter Cole Hamels bounced a ball into the dirt on a 3-2 count, Marisnick got set in the batter's box, ready to take the next pitch.

Luckily, Hinch was paying attention and could be heard cursing at home-plate umpire Fieldin Culbreth that Marisnick had earned four balls.

Culbreth, whose mind must have also been elsewhere, awarded Marisnick the base he deserved.

Perhaps the baseball gods were trying to even things out after Marisnick's teammate Jose Altuve took a three-ball walk earlier this month.
