Mariners' Felix Hernandez: Tosses six shutout innings Saturday
Hernandez (4-3) allowed no runs on four hits and three walks while striking out five over six innings to earn the win Saturday in Cincinnati.
Analysis:
Hernandez was staked to a four-run lead and was pulled after throwing 104 pitches before the bullpen easily closed out the victory. This was the third time this year that he's held opponents scoreless in an outing, and he currently owns a 2.21 ERA to go along with a 1.19 WHIP. He'll make his next start Friday against the Twins.
