Tigers' Justin Upton: Resting Sunday

Upton is out of the lineup Sunday against the Rays.

Analysis:

After starting five straight games in left field (and four more in center before that), Upton will get a day off in favor of Steven Moya. Saturday's hitless effort broke up a five-game hit streak for Upton, who has recently been able to bring his batting average up to .223 on the season.
