Trout guns overeager Kershaw trying to take 3rd

This is what it looks like when a pitcher slides.

With the Los Angeles Dodgers down 1-0 to the Los Angeles Angels in the third inning Tuesday, Clayton Kershaw did everything he could to try to help his own cause.

Mike Trout wasn't having it, though.

Kershaw tried to take two bases on a Chase Utley single to center. Instead, he was thrown out by mile and third, and it didn't help that he executed the most pitcher of pitcher slides.
