Report: Padres, Mariners out on Lincecum

Two teams are reportedly out of the Tim Lincecum sweepstakes.

The San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners are no longer interested in the right-hander, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.

This slightly narrows the list of suitors for the former Cy Young winner. Earlier in the week, Baltimore Orioles general manager Dan Duquette said he expects Lincecum to sign with a team on the West Coast as a starter.

"Frankly, I'd be surprised if Lincecum signs on the east side of the Mississippi River," he said on SiriusXM Radio's MLB Network Radio. "He's going to sign with a club that needs a starter. That's what he wants to do, and I'm confident he's going to get that opportunity."

Lincecum had the labrum in his hip repaired in September. Between 2012-2015, he owned a 4.68 ERA.
