Marlins' Jose Fernandez: Strikes out 11 in victory

Fernandez (4-2) shut out the Brewers over seven innings in Monday's win. He allowed four hits and walked four while striking out 11.

Analysis:

The 11 strikeouts were the most he's had in a start since his first start of the year. Fernandez has had a little bit of trouble this season, due in part to his 20 walks in seven starts, but still owns a respectable 3.54 ERA. His next start comes Saturday against the Nationals.
