Colon has hot tip to improve Harvey's HR power

After Bartolo Colon hit the most talked-about home run of the 2016 campaign off of James Shields on Saturday, the veteran hurler is now giving out hitting advice to his fellow pitchers on the New York Mets.

Colon had one specific tip for teammate Matt Harvey on Sunday, after the latter doubled off the outfield wall in center, narrowly missing a homer of his own.

Colon, who was named player co-player of the week alongside Ben Zobrist of the Chicago Cubs on Monday, isn't exactly known for his rugged physique. However, he's obviously done something right from a conditioning standpoint, as he's still pitching in the big leagues at nearly 43 years of age, so perhaps his advice to Harvey is warranted.

Colon's tip for Harvey may be better advice for a number of other prominent MLB sluggers, including Prince Fielder, Adam Jones, Troy Tulowitzki, Anthony Rendon, Alex Gordon, and Lorenzo Cain - all of whom Colon boasts a higher slugging percentage than so far this season.
