Cubs' Jason Heyward: Back in action Friday

Heyward will start in right field in Friday's game against the Nationals.

Analysis:

Hayward was able to take two at-bats off the bench Thursday after Dexter Fowler was ejected, but he will start Friday for the first time since Sunday. His last hit came April 24, but that did not stop manager Joe Maddon from slotting him into the second spot in the batting order for Friday's contest.
