Diamondbacks' Jake Lamb: Back in lineup Wednesday

Lamb is back in the starting lineup Wednesday, batting second and playing third base.

Analysis:

Lamb sat out the past three games, partially due to a sore shoulder and partially due to the scorching hot bat Brandon Drury has been swinging as of late. The Diamondbacks decided to slot Drury into the lineup in right field, opening a spot for Lamb to make his return. It'll be interesting to see how the playing time situation between the two of them plays out over the next few weeks considering they're both playing so well, but it'll probably be tough for Arizona to leave either one of them on the bench during this stretch.
