Dodgers' Scott Kazmir: Beats Rays for 100th career win

Kazmir (2-2) picked up the win Tuesday against the Rays. He pitched 6.2 innings, allowing four runs, seven hits and one walk while striking out nine.

Analysis:

Tuesday's victory was the 100th career win for the 11-year veteran. Unfortunately, despite the win, it was another messy outing for Kazmir. The left-hander has now given up four-plus runs and seven-plus hits in four of his last five starts. His control and strikeout rate have been good this season, but his fastball is down in velocity and his home run rate is terrible (2.0 HR/9).
