Royals' Chris Young: Takes no-decision against Nationals

Young allowed two runs on five hits and a walk over 4.2 innings in a no-decision Tuesday against the Nationals.

Analysis:

Young was helped out by his bullpen, as Luke Hochevar recorded the final out of the fifth inning with the bases loaded. The Royals starter was shaky all day. He threw just 10 first-pitch strikes to 20 batters, drew just five swinging strikes in 85 pitches, and gave up a pair of home runs. Young has now gone three starts since his last quality start and now has a 5.76 ERA.
