Orioles' Zach Britton: Playing catch Tuesday

Britton (ankle) will play catch Tuesday and could return later this week, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

Britton underwent an MRI on Monday that revealed no structural damage, so it looks as though he avoided a more serious ailment. An exact return date remains unclear, but if he's able to throw without incident, it sounds as though the closer could be ready in the coming days.
