Cardinals' Mitch Harris: Cleared to resume throwing
Harris (elbow) has been cleared to resume throwing, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.
Analysis:
The veteran right-hander started the season on the disabled list after being diagnosed with compression syndrome in his arm in late March. After resting for over a month, Harris' arm is healthy enough for him to resume throwing. However, after the prolonged amount of rest time, Harris may need a couple of weeks of rehab work to build the strength back up in his arm.
