Astros' Dallas Keuchel: Roughed up by Twins in loss

Keuchel (2-4) allowed five runs on seven hits and five walks in 4.1 innings in a loss Monday to the Twins.

Analysis:

Hitters have been much more patient with Keuchel this season, as they aren't chasing out of the zone like they did in his Cy Young campaign last year. Keuchel only gave up two extra-base hits, but because he kept filling up the bases via the walk, singles were enough to do the damage. Keuchel has issued 18 walks and his 4.4 BB/9 is more than double last year's mark (2.0). Now that the opposition's made a significant adjustment to him, we have to see if Keuchel can adjust back and remain effective even as hitters spit on his pitches out of the zone.
