Athletics' Khris Davis: Homers twice in loss to Mariners

Davis went 2-for-4 with a pair of homers, driving in all three Oakland runs in Monday's loss to the Mariners.

Analysis:

Davis was the Oakland offense in this one, following a second-inning solo shot off Seattle starter Nathan Karns with a two-run blast against Karns in the seventh. It had been 11 games since Davis last drove in multiple runs in a contest, but he was finally able to once again accomplish that as the Athletics' cleanup hitter.
