Mets' Bartolo Colon: Shuts out Braves for eight inning to get win
Colon (2-1) was masterful Monday, shutting out the Braves for eight innings while striking out seven. He allowed seven hits and did not walk a batter.
Analysis:
Colon flies under the radar in the Mets' star-studded rotation, but he has been incredibly impressive in 2016. The veteran righty has allowed three runs or fewer in each of his starts this year and has walked a grand total of three batters while striking out 28. His next start comes Saturday against the Padres.
