Leonys Martin put everything on the line to make sure his team got a win.
The Seattle Mariners center fielder preserved his team's 1-0 victory over the Kansas City Royals on Friday with a phenomenal over-the-shoulder catch while slamming face-first into the outfield wall at full speed.
"Man, that wall is really hard," Martin told Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times, before noting that his face and chest took a beating thanks to the collision.
Martin's game-saving catch gave Felix Hernandez his 145th career win, which moves him into a tie with Jamie Moyer for the most in Mariners franchise history.
