A giant Royals player that was miraculously stolen off a billboard on Wednesday has been found unharmed.

The 14-feet, 150-pound player was found in a wooded area across the street from the billboard where it originally resided. It took three well-conditioned individuals to remove it from the woods.

"The sheriff just ... said to me that obviously somebody took it, got scared, brought it back," Bob Fessler, vice president of billboard company Lamar, told Brandon Richard of CBS Kansas City. "Somebody that lives in the neighborhood just saw it plain as could be just laying along the side of the road this morning."

The 3-D figure appeared atop a billboard made to look like Kauffman Stadium's outfield fence making a leaping catch at the wall. As of now, there's no word on whether the player will be returned to its rightful home atop the advertisement.
