Fear momentarily gripped the nation's capital Saturday when Washington Nationals phenom Bryce Harper appeared to hurt his ankle on an awkward misstep in the top of the sixth inning of his club's interleague contest with the Minnesota Twins.

Though the 23-year-old walked back to his position a bit gingerly after tweaking his ankle, Harper appeared just fine when he came to plate in the home half of the inning and smacked a rocket line drive into the right-field corner for his second double of the game.

Harper, who appeared in a career-high 153 games last season en route to the National League MVP award, entered Saturday's contest at Nationals Park leading the NL in home runs (8), slugging percentage (.789), and OPS (1.181).
