Freese is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Diamondbacks, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.
Analysis:
The 32-year-old Freese remained in the No. 3 spot in the order against a lefty earlier in the week, but he's out of the lineup entirely Friday against Patrick Corbin. Sean Rodriguez takes over at third base as Francisco Cervelli slots into the three-hole. Freese has hit safely in 12 of 15 starts so far this season, but just two of his 17 hits have gone for extra bases.
