Werth exited in the fifth inning of Wednesday's game for an undisclosed reason, which has since been revealed to be hamstring tightness. Fortunately, manager Dusty Baker indicated that he was already planning on resting Werth on Thursday and doesn't think the injury is severe. The veteran could return to the lineup as soon as Friday.
