Schwarber is now being evaluated for a possible sprained ankle after X-rays Thursday returned negative, Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. He's scheduled to undergo an MRI on Friday.

Analysis:

This is certainly good news considering he required a cart to leave the field. Sprains can definitely cost some time as well, and there's no guarantee that something won't come up on the MRI, but the fact that he's avoided a broken ankle bodes well. Expect further news on the situation when the results come back Friday.
