The Giants lost to the Red Sox, 11-7, on Wednesday for their sixth consecutive loss and they are now 0-6 since the All-Star break. It is their longest losing streak since 2015, when they lost seven in a row (August 29-September 4, 2015).

New York fell to Baltimore, 4-1, on Thursday to snap a four-game winning streak. Over their past six games, the Yankees have committed six errors, tied with the Athletics for most in MLB since July 16.

The Giants needed four hours and 25 minutes to snap their season-high six-game losing streak and they will look to get another win and do so in less time Sunday afternoon when their three-game series with the New York Yankees concludes.
